Oooh, bad furry AND anime fanfics!
Although, the idea that really disturbs me is that this has probably been done already ....

Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Star Fox and Chobits.
The story should use losing one's virginity as a plot device!

John Stewart for President
Hello there, everyone!

As a rule, I leave my personal views on politics the heck out of the lives of those I know, because they are unrealistic and simple. (my views that is, not the people)

However, this little clip perfectly sums up in 5:43 why politics suck. Anyone who can willingly swallow this type of BS deserves to be lied to, IMHO.

Please note this is in relation to the McCain/Palin ticket, but it applies to all party politics and has done so for the better part of 200 years in our country. I am not purposely out to slam the Republicans, all other parties pull these exact same stunts.

Clip is from The Daily Show on Comedy Central. Please feel free to share with others.

Enjoy!

This makes as much sense as "42" ever did ....
Although I would have settled for a "27" as well, but I don't think it was an option.
100% match, even - way too much Brit comedy in my youth!

Which sci-fi crew would you best fit in with? (pics)

You scored as Heart of Gold (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)

You are a light and humorous person. No one can help but to smile to your wit. Now if only the improbability drive would stop turning you into weird stuff.

A nice tribute, but Kingly these aren't .....
Hello there, everyone!

I have a habit of picking up new things to try now and again, and I found these in our local CVS pharmacy today:

http://www.hersheys.com/reeses/elvis/

Yes, these are Reeses Peanut Butter Cups with an added layer of banana cream inside them, in tribute to Elvis Presley.

Although announced way back in fall of 2006, these candies are just now being released. If you're a fan of Reeses and also like those really, really cheap banana cream pies, you should enjoy this candy.

Personally, I was not all shook up. ^_^

What American accent do you have?
Created by Xavier on Memegen.net

Northern. Whether you have the world famous Inland North accent of the Great Lakes area, or the radio-friendly sound of upstate NY and western New England, your accent is what used to set the standard for American English pronunciation (not much anymore now that the Inland North sounds like it does).

Midland. The Midland (please don't confuse with "Midwest") itself is the neutral zone between the North and South. But just because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from there. Since it is considered a neutral, default, "non-regional" accent you could easily be from someplace without its own accent, like Florida, or a big city in the South like Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta.

Southern. Love it or hate it, your accent says you're probably from somewhere south of the Ohio River.

Take this quiz now - it's easy!
We're going to start with "cot" and "caught." When you say those words do they sound the same or different?

Interestingly enough, the broad swath of Americana I seem to speak does not encompass Central Florida, where I grew up and my speech patterns were formed.

Others have gotten very accurate results. michelelight was spotted dead on as having learned out here in California land.

Enjoy!
